Introducing Shinju Fringe
Shinju Matsuri’s slightly eccentric younger brother, Shinju Fringe is on its way to Broome! Join us in May 2016 for the inaugural Fringe festival that has a little something for everyone. The main attraction of the festival will be the Yum Cha Markets down the main strip of Carnarvon Street in Broome, a twilight oriental food market that will see a canopy of Chinese lanterns and stacks of steam pots amongst the bustling stalls and balmy atmosphere. Celebrity chef, Don Hancey, and his team will be preparing an array of Yum Cha delicacies for all palettes – don’t miss out!
Also on the calendar are several cultural events including an Indigenous Language Trail and and Artists’ Open House Trail, both promising an active day out with plenty to discover on the way. Do you have a love of the local cultures and crafts of Broome? These are the events for you.
